How to connect Gemini CLI to Anchor

Gemini CLI

1. Open ~/.gemini/settings.json in a text editor and add the Anchor server:

   mkdir -p ~/.gemini && touch ~/.gemini/settings.json && open -e ~/.gemini/settings.json

   mkdir -p ~/.gemini && touch ~/.gemini/settings.json && xdg-open ~/.gemini/settings.json

   mkdir %USERPROFILE%\.gemini 2>nul & notepad %USERPROFILE%\.gemini\settings.json
   Paste this at the end of the file: {
     "mcpServers": {
       "anchor": {
         "httpUrl": "https://mcp.anchor.cc/mcp"
       }
     }
   }
2. Launch Gemini CLI with gemini.
3. Enable the server: /mcp enable anchor
4. Authenticate: /mcp auth anchor A sign-in window opens — use your Anchor account to connect.
5. Ask Gemini CLI "What is Anchor, and what can I use it for?"
