Allow network access for faster file transfer #
You don't need this to use Anchor. But with it, Claude can send images, PDFs, videos, Office files and any other file straight to Anchor, and move large files much faster. An admin turns it on once for everyone in your organization:
- In Claude, open Organization settings and go to Capabilities.
- Under Allow network egress, add both of these domains to the allowed list:
- Start a new chat. Claude checks the connection on its own before it moves any files.
Allow network egress Chat Cowork
Give Claude network access to install packages and libraries in order to perform advanced data analysis, custom visualizations, and specialized file processing.

Additional allowed domains
- storage-upload.anchor.cc
- storage.anchor.cc
Without this, Anchor still works: Claude writes text files more slowly, and images, PDFs, videos and Office files need to be uploaded from the Anchor website instead.
