ANCHOR rents different spaces depending on your specific needs and budget
Being self-employed is exciting and liberating, to say the least. But without the right atmosphere, it can also be lonely and difficult to be productive or inspired.
ANCHOR is a non-traditional office space away from home, complete with the comforts of a community of fellow entrepreneurs and creative businesses. As such, we provide you with the freedom to run your own business and the inspiration to stay productive, connect, and grow.
We offer a variety of spaces, ranging from a single desk to your own office. Additionally, we have units established for conferences and meetings, as well as a shared kitchen and event space.
OFFICE SPACE
We offer a range of sizeable contemporary office spaces that can accommodate anywhere from 1 to 6 people. Every office is fitted with environmentally friendly Homasote, making the unit easily customizable, functional and efficient.
CO-WORKING
For those who are just getting started or looking to try a space away from home for the first time, we offer designated desk space in an area alongside other entrepreneurs.
ARTIST STUDIOS
We offer raw space to accommodate artists pursuing hands-on projects that require a physical work area.
EXHIBITION AND EVENT SPACE
ANCHOR features an exhibition area which is used for workshops, presentations, networking events, meetups, and more! We open the space to tenants as a way to try different types of new and progressive programming. Our exhibition/event space is also available for the public to rent! Call Matt at (401) 305-2426 for more information about rental fees and dates.
Past events and programming
We’ve had everything from the 2011 Better World by Design conference after party, the launch party for Makeshift Magazine, the 2011 AIGA traveling Bone Show, Green Drinks, Pecha Kucha, RISD’s recent alumni exhibition and much, much, more. If you have an idea and drive to organize workshops, presentations, networking events, meetups, etc. in the gallery space, let us know! We are opening the space to tenants as a way to try different types of new and progressive programming. We also welcome companies and individuals from the outside community to exhibit. We offer the space to the public for a nominal fee and in some cases at no cost if ANCHOR is a sponsor.
